«Rhythms of West Africa»
With a continuous desire to celebrate unity through music, diversity and nature which is identical to how different notes can produce rhythms and harmonies,

we believe in our passion for music and our longing to contribute whenever possible, to peace and arts through our love and trust in the power of chorale music.

It is in this quest for peace that the festival ECOWAS MUSIC is created by the Soprano Events Ltd.
The first edition was held in Lomé-Togo in April 2019, and the second one in Uyo Akwa Ibom State Nigeria from 19th to 23rd April 2023.

Created in Lomé in 2019, ECOWAS MUSIC FESTIVAL was formed from the desire to unite youth from West African communities through friendship, fraternity and rich culture, as well as improving on their existing talents in artistic expression, in music, and more precisely in choral music.

Ecowas Music Festival has no connection with the subregional institutional organization Ecowas.

Ecowas Music Festival is organised by SOPRANO EVENTS LTD UK and specialises in the organisation of musical events and festivals. Soprano Events Ldt promotes and facilitates participation in events across more than several festivals worldwide.

The objectives are to raise positive West African values and to mark the challenge of being able to reach such professional levels in the field of musical excellence and choral music in particular:

• The culture of friendship, understanding and peace between the people of West Africa and the world;
• Focus on using our diverse African musical instruments;
• Education through arts and music ;
• Contribution and protection of cultural diversity.

To participate in Ecowas Music Festival, each participant must apply to the committeefor an invitation.
