After the great success of our inaugural edition of the ECOWAS Music Festival in 2019, we look forward to offering an exciting experience for all participants with the introduction of creative and innovative performances for this year’s edition.
Once again, we are fortunate to introduce to participants, an exceptional line-up of highly respected tutors who will share their invaluable knowledge, assessments and demonstrations of African traditional music instruments.
We would like to thank all the participants of the previous edition for their artistry demonstrated and shared, and we look forward to hearing much more at this coming festival.
Music is a performing art, and our mission is to encourage the sense of perfection and enjoyment of the musical art in the musicians and choirs through whom this art lives ».
ECOWAS YOUTH SING (EYS) is composed of 32 choristers selected among the best choirs in
the sub-region.
It has, among other missions, the role of being the singing voice of regional and international organizations that promote the values of peace and unity among people.
EYS is also a framework where expectations, concerns, and experiences relating to west
african choirs are shared.
The Promised – Land Chorale Int’L. is a non-denominational group of more than two hundred and fifty young men and women devoted to imparting values to humanity through God-given and consciously developed talents and potentials. Realizing our commonalities and deep sense of direction, we are challenged with the yearning need for re-orientation and spiritual development of the mind of people positively. This, we hope would ultimately help to reshape our culture, polity and lives.
VISION
To become a leading Chorale Ensemble reaching the lost souls for Christ through songs with a team of selected musicians and singers.
MISSION
To build a Multi-Dimensional Music Ministry across the World; to preach the good news of the kingdom through songs, uplifting souls and drawing men to God while hoping to make the heavenly choir.
The Promised-Land Chorale International is an award winning non-denominational group devoted to imparting humanity through the gift of music. Over the past 15years, The Promised-Land Chorale has organized over 30 Gospel Musical Concerts.
This extraordinary choir has ministered on many noteworthy stages. They have been featured severally in many music festivals and competitions across Africa where they have won many prizes including the 1st prize award at the African Federation for the choral music competition « Africa Sings » in Togo back in 2012, Star Prize from Chord Battle Project, organised in 2020 at Eket, Akwa Ibom State, and Star Prize at Fellowship of Gospel Music Ministers of Nigeria (FOGMMON) Music Competition organised in 2022 at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
